Information we use
Account information includes your name, email address, account identifier and, when provided, profile picture. Bookings and enquiries include the contact details, service choices, appointment times, venue or home address, and notes you submit. Payment records can include payment status, transaction references and payment-proof images you upload. Please do not include passwords, UPI PINs or unnecessary sensitive information in your notes or screenshots.
Signing in with Google
Google sign-in is optional. If you choose it, Google shares your account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, through our authentication provider, Clerk. We use this information to create or authenticate your account, display your profile and connect you to your appointments. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendars.
Google account data is not sold or used for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.
How information is used and shared
We use your information to manage your account, answer enquiries, arrange services, review payment proofs and protect the website from misuse. Authorized studio administrators can access information needed to manage these services.
Clerk processes authentication and account information; Convex stores booking and enquiry records and uploaded payment proofs; Vercel hosts the website; and Resend handles website email delivery. These providers process information needed to deliver their services, which may involve systems outside India. Google processes Google sign-in under its own privacy policy. Opening external WhatsApp, social-media or payment-app links also involves those providers.
Cookies and security
The website and authentication provider use cookies or similar browser storage to maintain sessions and support security checks. Hosting and authentication services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and diagnostic logs. Account and booking access is restricted through authentication and authorization checks. No online system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and retention
You can update available profile settings in your account. You can also revoke Google access through your Google Account connections settings. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete existing account or booking records.
Account and booking records are retained to provide services and maintain appointment and payment history. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, email nehaartistry@vedants.in. We may need to verify your identity and retain records necessary for outstanding services, payment disputes or applicable record-keeping obligations. Provider backups and security logs may follow their own retention schedules.
